Bhature

Chole bhature (Hindiछोले भटूरे)  is a combination of chole (spicy chick peas) and fried bread called bhatoora (made of refined flour).Its an Indian Punjabi dish and very very tasty.Here I am going to make Bhatures today. For Chole recipe please click here.
Chole Bhature



Ingredients

Refined Flour (Maida)            1 1/2 Cup
Baking Powder                       1/4 tsp
Baking Soda                           pinch
Salt                                        1/2 tsp
Sugar                                     1 tsp
Yogurt                                   1/2 Cup
Oil                                         1 tbsp + to deep fry


Method

  1. Take 1 Cup Flour in a Bowl.
    Add caption


  2. Add in baking, powder,baking soda,salt and sieve this mixture.
  3. Add Sugar and mix.
  4. Add yogurt little by little and knead a soft dough.
  5. Knead the dough further by adding 1 tbsp oil.
  6. Cover with a plastic wrap and keep aside for about an hour.
  7. Heat sufficient oil in a karahi or wok.
  8. Grease your hands and take a small portion of the dough.

  9. Roll it into a circle about 3 inch diameter.
  10. Deep fry on medium heat till light brown on both sides.

  11. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot with chhole.


Note: 
  1. If you have problem rolling the dough you can dust it with dry flour so that the dough doesn't stick.
