Bhature
Chole bhature (Hindi: छोले भटूरे) is a combination of chole (spicy chick peas) and fried bread called bhatoora (made of refined flour).Its an Indian Punjabi dish and very very tasty.Here I am going to make Bhatures today. For Chole recipe please click here.
Ingredients
Refined Flour (Maida) 1 1/2 Cup
Baking Powder 1/4 tsp
Baking Soda pinch
Salt 1/2 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Yogurt 1/2 Cup
Oil 1 tbsp + to deep fry

Method
- Take 1 Cup Flour in a Bowl.

- Add in baking, powder,baking soda,salt and sieve this mixture.
- Add Sugar and mix.
- Add yogurt little by little and knead a soft dough.
- Knead the dough further by adding 1 tbsp oil.
- Cover with a plastic wrap and keep aside for about an hour.
- Heat sufficient oil in a karahi or wok.
- Grease your hands and take a small portion of the dough.
- Roll it into a circle about 3 inch diameter.
- Deep fry on medium heat till light brown on both sides.
- Drain on an absorbent paper and serve hot with chhole.
Note:
- If you have problem rolling the dough you can dust it with dry flour so that the dough doesn't stick.
